No one on earth is more loved or hated than Jesus. This is not surprising, since he’s the most famous person in all of human history. More songs have been sung to him, artwork created of him, and books written about him than anyone who has ever lived. Even our calendar is organised around his life, dividing time before and after him.
Naturally, someone this important will have fans and foes. And a lot of people have an idea of who Jesus is. They may get this idea from TV, movies or social media, maybe from past church experience, from history books, or maybe from just hearsay.
But just because we have ideas of who Jesus is doesn’t mean we actually know Jesus.
At Shellharbour Christian Fellowship, we’re all about Jesus – and the only way to get to know Jesus is to understand what The Bible says about him, which includes what he said about himself.
Jesus made some claims people often perceive as outrageous. And we are left to draw one of three conclusions…either he was delusional, he was the biggest of liars, or he is in fact Lord. If the last is true, how should this affect our lives?
At Shellharbour Christian Fellowship, we believe that Jesus is in fact god. We believe his word is true and we base all we do on what he has revealed to us. We invite you to get to know us and, far more importantly, to get to know Jesus.
If you are asking yourself, “who is Jesus?”, Please understand this…that is life’s most important question. And your eternity rests on how you answer. We want you to know this man who is God. If you want to know him or know more about him, please don’t hesitate to contact us, join us for fellowship, or read The Bible (we’d suggest beginning with the Book of John in the New Testament).
